Little Rock City Hall is located on the northwestern corner of West Markham and Broadway. Designed by noted architect Charles L. Thompson, it has been the seat of city government since 1908.

The capital city of Arkansas is also the state's largest municipality, with nearly 200,000 people calling it home. The City of Little Rock employs approximately 2,500 employees in 14 departments.
