Arkansas Legislative Committee Rooms

• A conference discussion system consists of push-to-speak microphones at each seat. From the chairperson's position, microphones can be muted.
• Computer video inputs at each end of the table provide multimedia presentation capabilities.
• Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras transmit video to the control booth near the house chamber where it is streamed over the internet and broadcast over public television networks.

Legislative committees meet in the committee rooms in the state capitol. These rooms are among the most used legislative meeting spaces.

As part of restoration projects in the capitol, the committee rooms began renovations in 2016. In addition to restoring the rooms and furnishings to their original appearance, the work included enhancements to the functionality of the rooms.
